I am a little troubled trying to find this so mentioned player.config under tier1, however, neither tier1 nor player.config appear in my folders for starbound... any suggestions?
Did you unpack the assets? player.config should be at the root of the unpacked vanilla assets Edit: if not, you have a tutorial here to unpack assets/packed.pak
I assume you didn't then. The tutorial i gave you earlier (i edited my last message) should help you (it tells you how to use the programs asset_packer and asset_unpacker, and where to find them). I suggest you do it by hand, without downloading anything (at the bottom of the page), it's really simple and the downloadable programs may be outdated anyway. Also, if you're using Mac OS and the unstable version, trying to launch the asset_packer/unpacker may give you an error (something about a framework which hasn't been found in @executable_path/../Frameworks). If that is the case, you have to move them to the right directory for them to run (i made a post here about that).
I don't know if the tutorial has it listed, but if you use Windows, you can just use the unpack_assets.bat file found in the win32 folder, by double clicking it. That unpacks them into the asset folder under the unpacked folder, if I remember correctly. Just to note, this maybe only in the nightly / unstable releases.
