As far as I'm aware, at the moment most planets that are somewhat uninhabitable are just very cold.

There should be other planets added, that don't normally support humanoid/oxygen-breathing life forms and require one of a few sets of crafted spacesuits to explore, as they would negate the lack of oxygen on those planets and/or would prevent any negative effects of those planets atmosphere; real life example here being Venus, with hydrochloric acid mist for air.

I've been fighting with this for a long time, Syzygian. Arid places should be hot and shade should be a commodity. Honestly, I think thirst should be as much an issue as hunger. Standing in the hot sun or next to a lake of magma should drain thirst faster, for example. Your example, though, hurts my brain a little (not in a bad way; I literally pondered landing on Venus last night!); breathing hydrochloric acid is NOT the only danger. Eventually it'll melt through that armored spacesuit and kill you. So... yeah. There's a reason we can't land on gas giants.

As far as i know such planets will be added sooner or later.

Ah, Venus isn't a gas giant. It's mostly rock, just like Earth, it just has a hydrochloric acid atmosphere. It's also the hottest planet in our solar system.

If there was to be acidic atmosphere planets, the space suits should have an integrity meter, that displays how long you have left until the suit falls to pieces. Thereby making visits to those sorts of planets a rare treat and a mad scramble for the rare resources they hold. Kinda like an old school bonus stage in a lot of ways. You have limited time and there is more stuff to be grabbed from there.

Ah, I see. Well, I suppose that could very well work, then. Perhaps instead of the armor falling to pieces, you could repair it with the ore used to make it? Until then, it's useless as armor, like pickaxes/drills. And I didn't mean to imply that Venus was a gas giant, simply that such a hostile atmosphere would be detrimental to survivability.
