Planetary teleport "bug?"

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I've noticed something odd I don't know if it is supposed to happen or not.

If you mine down exactly where you teleport in from your ship, you'll teleport to the bottom of that hole instead of the surface. This is cool with me (though a little bit cheesy as you can use it to mine deeper and deeper even if you die, but no big deal). The problem that happens is if you seal up the hole... you still teleport to the bottom.

Found this out the hard way when my friend tried to set a trap for me on the beam spot on his home planet. After his trap failed I mined out the area so he'd (I assumed) fall straight down after landing on the main spot, instead he landed at the bottom (troll attempt = fail). But then we tried to repair the hole so it wouldn't happen any more and it kept happening which meant we basically ruined his home planet...

If ever we get a locator beacon or something to change "spawn" point, this would be a non-issue but in this case it was pretty annoying. Had to dig back all the way up and salvage stuff and move to another planet.

Anyone else ever have this issue?
