Basically, I would like the ability to bookmark planets.

How it would work is like this:

From the top right menu, you can access the address book (Could be a sub-menu to one of the current options).

With the address book open, you can make an entry for the planet you're currently on or orbiting. This entry consist of a name you give for it, the in-game planet name, a short description written by you and it's exact coordinates.

A planet can then be selected from this menu while on the ship to initiate travel to it.

This would make it easier for a player to mark down places of interest like planets with specific settlements, traders, preferred mining locations, quest givers and such.

It would also make player to player interactions on planets easier, allowing you to visit a players home world (Or any planet you may want to gather on) even if that player isn't present and possibly even share that home world (Though of course the original player still remains the owner).

Anyone feel like lending this idea their support?

    +1

I am giving my support. It would seem to be more adept for multiplayer as SP has the save planet feature; We just need to be able to add more, and your idea of a so called "address book" fixes this.

I'm not sure if this is already in, but can we add this too to randomized monsters? Like it was a pokedex

That would end having more entries than there are stars in the universe. So... Probably not going to happen.

Also, I would very much like to know the reasoning of the person that voted no on the poll.

    Why?
