Planet navigation is flawed

    The game should...
-Ask the player to confirm before setting a new home
-let the player go to a coordinate without clicking "Find random" first
-have the previous/next page buttons working
-have a "my favorite" folder to store a bunch of planets

also, I hope it costs little bit less to travel between planets in the same sector. It's kind of annoying to spend time collecting wood and coal before going to another planet.

Acually i agree with everything except the fuel cost:
i don't know if i'm being lucky / bugged , but every trip to every planet in the current sector costs always 200 ...

Or maybe make traveling between known planets less costly.

1: I agree, although I haven't personally had any issues
2: Try right-clicking in the nav menu :p
3: Which buttons are you talking about?
4: Yes, this'll stop me listing interesting coords in a notepad file :D

It costs 1 fuel to travel to a planet in the same orbit (like between a planet and its moons)
It costs 50 fuel to travel to another orbit in a system (so, a different ring)
It costs 200 fuel to travel between systems (regardless of sectors)

    Edit: Fuel Costs

it used to cost 300 fuel but it's changed to 200, which is still quite a lot.

200 fuel is literally less than 10 trees cut, or 100 coal chunks... c'mon. it's a good value for traveling among the stars

Agreed. In addition to a favorites, having a selectable history of each planet visited would be ideal, in my opinion.

Considering we are using coal and wood as fuel for hyper speed travel the price is good :p

It would be nice if you could see what threat level planets are in a system without having to go through every single one (and of which biome type). I also agree with point 4.

Why does everyone want it to cost less to travel between planets?

I takes me no more than 2 minutes to get enough fuel to travel to any planet at a time. I honestly think the fuel cost should scale with distance, cost more, and give coal a greater fuel ratio (It is MUCH easier to get 200 wood than it is to get 100 coal)

    Fuel values:
    Wood - 1
    Coal - 2
    Spoilers:
    Uranium - 4
    Plutonium - 6
    Solarium - 8

There may be more, but that's what I've found so far
In any case, wood is all you'll need, unless you get stuck on a wood-less planet (moon) which will always have coal.

The +/- buttons which I suspect are to allow you to go from planet view to solar view to galaxy view and back down again are non-functional. It'd be really nice if they were working.

And I agree, a list of visited systems would be awesome. Much like wizard land addresses I am writing down coordinates of places I find interesting on sticky notes and storing them for later use. Astronavigation at its finest.
