Join me in my quest to find cool stuff and discover weird places as we traverse across the galaxy! We'll be moving from planet to planet, checking every box to check, taking pictures of every scene to gawk at, and of course, looting everything to be looted! This thread will be purposed as a travel journal for my Avian avatar, Frieval the treasure hunter (or just the "loot bird"). I'll be putting up pictures and stuff of rare loot I find, places I discover, other interesting stuff, and things that are downright weird or disturbing. I'll also put up coordinates for every planet I go to so you guys can follow me in my travels!* *My PC is a Win7 32-bit, with the Your Starbound Crew mod installed, so the universe might be different, but I'm not sure. Onwards! Snow planet, yay! A couple minutes of walking, and I find this: Sword in the Stone reference? (It's a stone sword.) Village interactions: This Glitch version of a crazy cat lady-- except they're CHICKENS. Wizard tower.. Oh, look! Another stone sword! Ooh, tech chest with a blank tech card inside! I don't know how to get to Sesame Street... The chickens are following me! (First thread, btw)
I always wondered what other religions Avians who rejected Kluex might drift towards if they weren't outright atheists. ...Apparently, worshipping Big Bird is a known phenomena? On a side note, what's that orange thing sticking out of your backside?

Another snow planet, this time in an eccentric star system! A mini-boss with a very disturbing look on its face And dropping a bone axe doesn't make it any better. Good day, sir! A second mini-boss. This little guy here was quietly bird-watching until a white bird swooped in and attacked. He thought I was with the thing and tried to kill me, too. An Avian village! And, of course, there's always one thing that's out of place in any village I come to find. Running away from bandits. The gunner thug was doing serious damage with an incredible attack speed. Had to get help from the local guards. A bunch of cool stuff I found: A surface micro-dungeon! The loot was useless! Snow planets are so cool. Get it?
Poo Biome sounds more Scientological. Spelunca defecatia is full of scientific truthiness which will help to better the world forever. If poop blobs can gain sentience, we could potentially find ways to trigger this change on our own. We could power entire cities with buildings full of turd monsters bouncing up and down on magnetic trampolines. It wouldn't exactly be "clean" energy, but it would be 100% renewable and biodegradable. When poop monsters die of exhaustion, they can immediately be used to fertilize fields, enabling cattle to graze and make more poop.
Wow. You might be onto something there. Tropical planet! These things breathe blue fire! Berry hats and Butterfly wings! Apex facility filled with stims and coats! (But surprisingly no pants) Alien planet, GO! Giant bird that spits deadly things! ...Defeating it gives you a shocking surprise! OP Alien gun that can OHKO everything in the planet! Random stuff!
It's time to go down to an ice planet and dig for snow so I can chuck snowballs at my crew members! I think I got carried away... I think it's time to go back up. How did I miss this thing? BIG FLYING BUG DEMON The name kinda bothers me... Welp, now that I got the snow I needed from digging earlier, it's time to shoot hoops! Chucking snowballs at mobs... They were just standing there, doing nothing. I tried to distract them, but they didn't budge. Hmmm... Ooh, a guitar! Neat! Because ice planets are so cool. Awesome pillars are awesome. Note the flying beast to the upper-left. EDIT: I just noticed how each mountain has one pillar aligned to it. Awesomeness +1 So majestic. Moving on... I found four Glitch structures with kings in it. Maybe they're the Four Kings? EDIT: Fantasy setting planet. THE LAND OF KINGS AND DRAGONS. Oh hey, it's an Apex in a... cage... I think I've seen something I shouldn't have! Cheese mode activate. Look at how awesome thing thing is. It's even got a cool name, fitting for even this planet. Wizard. This is the coolest shield I have ever seen (pun not intended). Cute penguin thingy. I didn't notice how these things aligned when I took the shot.
