I have been looking around the forum and not really found any threads about the subject of this threads title. As I don't hang around on the IRC a lot or hound the livestreams i don't know if there has been any official statements made about this. Does anyone know anything / what do you think about different kinds of planets having differing geological structures like for example hot, dense planets having different topography/subterainian structure and different mineral occurenses then less dense and/or cooler worlds?
I believe Tiy has stated, though I don't know where, that there will be different geological structures for different biomes. However, I haven't heard anything planet-wise.
It'll probably be different for different types of planets. Lava planets may have lots of granite, water planets having lots of basalt, etc.
Very well could just be for biomes. Then a planet's overall composition will be determined by the biomes in it.
