Allow us to bookmark certain planets and keep them in a catalog. So say there is a planet with a cool Glitch village on it, but you don't want to make it your home, just bookmark it as "Glitch Village" and then anytime you want to go back there you can just click the bookmark, and bam.
I'd like to be able to add a couple notes on it too so it helps me remember what's there. If I'm going to hundreds of planets, I don't want to have to land on each one again to find something I wanted.
This one is really a no-brainer. +1 Let's hope they don't think that being frustratingly lost is a "core mechanic".
Cool, I'm not the only person that wants this. I posted a suggestion in the Mechanics forum as well, hopefully the devs add it in a future update.
It can be visualized on your map as well. Any planet you have visited before has some sort of marker (a star, a red dot, a banana, something) that shows that you have landed before.
Really good Idea. +1 I have a notebook right now witch coordinates. Feels like I'm playing a game from the 90s.
Item: Captain's Log Shows all the places you have landed before, and their coordinates. For the heck of it, it also records any items and noticeable features such as towns found.
I'm actually surprised this doesn't already exist wow. But physical notebook does have a nostalgic appeal, I must admit.
I'd also like if it was possible to add personalized notes to each planet I'd love to annotate them with a personal touch "space pirates here, should come back with more pixels to buy stuff, and them kill them all"
