Cool mod bud I would like to have even more furniture

 

My game crashes whenever I try to sit on a (PGS) chair. Has a few other bugs too, including some items crashing the game by just holding them, missing sounds, etc. I'll upload the .log file; hopefully it helps someone figure out what's going on. It's the most recent version with Glad Giraffe, stable.

indeed, i wish someone would remake it

 

since its such an awesome mod i keep fixing objects i use (when updates mess smth up)
this time i decided to go through everything and fix all i could find
heres the approx list:
-fixed everything u can sit on
-all sounds should work
-beam light is somewhat broken (at least i dont know how to make it work), so all beam lights are radial

its very possible i missed smth, so feel free to post a bug

(to install delete pgs.modpak and put pgs folder into mods folder, the point of this is its easier to change smth when u have a folder rather than modpak file)

 

Having an issue with a specific item: The Avian Bird Cage.
I can buy it, shift click it into a box, but as soon as I clicked on it and try to place it, my game crashes.
and now I am unable to play because the item is in my hotbar, at my current item, and everytime my character loads I crash.

Error message I get in the popup:

Fatal Exception Caught:
(ObjectException) Unknown objectType 'noisy'
constructing object 'okeaavianbirdcage'

does your unofficial update fix this problem? I was just going to delete the item manually in the unpacked folder.

btw the mod is all "free" to change/post so i don't think anyone would mind if you take care of this and upload it

I've noticed that stuff in this mod doesn't seem to have the tenant affecting flags (ex. A Hylotyl dresser doesn't actually guarantee a Hylotyl). Any idea how hard it would be to add that kind of thing in? I might give it a try.

 

its not hard, but time consuming. u have to add colony tag to every object

 

Hmm, I might try to do at least a few then. Are there any good examples/lists of what the tags are and where to put them?

 

are u sure u need it? colony system is easy to trick, build a basic house and keep placing colony deed until u get the tenant u like, and then decorate the place
in case u still want it, u have to add this line to the object file:

"colonyTags" : ["hylotl"],

replace hylotl with any other tag, here's the list

Yea I know it's pretty much unnecessary, but then so is 90% of all decorating in Starbound. It's one of those "The journey, not the destination" type things. Sometimes it's just fun to see if my miniscule coding ability can actually achieve something

In any event, thanks for the link, and thanks for the update you made to get this working. I really like all the cosmetic options this mod gives you, and it sounds like it was pretty thoroughly broken in Glad Giraffe before you stepped in.
