It is really strange that it happens for you, i don't really have a workaround for this because this file is a must for new dye mod, perhaps if you'll install new dye mod (dyeing bucket) error will go away and stop crashing ?

 

The error went away when I installed the new dye mod. The game isn't crashing when I was having the error. Thank you!

Hi, does anyone else have a problem running this mod (unstable version) on MAC OSX?

Figured out the asset_unpacker can't handle .pak files other than vanilla packed folder, this happens with every mod that uses these files (okea, GardenBot etc.)

Does anyone know what to do now?

Hey, cool, thanks! I was looking for this ever when I downloaded a new version. Luckily, there are only very few mods using these .pak files.

 

Aww man, got tired with the name Okea? Or was there some sort of issue attached to it?

 

Other stuff. Basically - many players were voting for okea to become a part of vanilla in 22th febr official post about mod integration, but one of the devs responces (not in that topic) was that author needs to change a few things (those are - okea name, playstation logo, super mario and minecraft cameos and some other stuff). So i got rid of all that questionable stuff to future-proof my mod in case it gets selected to be integrated in to the game.

 

Ohhh, yeah that makes sense. Liked the cameos, but would love it even more if your mod made it into vanilla! So it's a necessary sacrifice, I suppose.

Mods must be unpacked using the old unpacker exe, then packed with the new one.
Or just wait for the author to pack it with ne new packager.

Re-packed it with a new packer, should work now, if not - try unpacked version.. good thing i didn't go to sleep early.

PS. Next update is gonna be hi-tech stuff loosely based on impervium items with their style and high-contrast palette, should be ready by sunday if all goes well.

 

Help please!? As you can see all my placed items from this mod have just kind of vanished yet they are still kind of there (as im standing on what should be a crate in the storage room on my ship)... i added the new version to my mods folder and that doesnt seem to be helping, any suggestions? (i tried the regular and whatever the unpacked one that was linked before neither fixed the issue)

 

They vanished because you probably tried to load the game after you removed old okea version, but didn't yet install new one - if you do that - items will vanish forever. Maybe you can restore them with backup if you have it.

PS. There absolutely must be automatic back up file for your shipworld in your player folder (game makes them automatically with each patch). If you replace your current shipworld file with the one that has .bak extension - everything should be restored.
