Piracy

Hold on to your horses boys, Crysis (forgot which series) was pirated before the game even released, there was a trainer a month before the game even released and there wasnt even a beta. Who is to say there isnt already a pirated version floating around somewhere

 

I am a fan of piracy, but I also buy games that are worth my time. Minecraft a huge example, started out pirated. Cube World I also pirated and then bought (Look where that got me). Too many games out there to just outright buy every one of them, but I do believe in purchasing what you like when you have the funds to do so. Game developers deserve to be paid for their hard work!

That's just my beliefs, sorry if the anti-pirates hate me for this(although not really sorry).

 

I dont pirate, but i understand why people pirate (have friends who do) so you are forgiven (at least from me )

 

To combat piracy you have to provide a better service than what a pirate could bring, that's what Gabe does with Steam

When the game is well integrated in Steam it works, everyday I see trolls joining the Steam group chat of PAYDAY 2 whining because the cracked version can't go online with legit players

I'm like haha derp

 

Yar, thar be nothing ye can do to stop the pirates, me hearties. In all seriousness, piracy is going to happen. There's not much anyone can do about it.
