Pierre...is he misunderstood or a slimeball? (or both!)

She's really just not competition for him in anyway really, kinda like how Robin isn't a concern for him they're selling different things. Joja is a threat to his business because they sell the same things as Pierre and are open longer so they are a threat to his store. The traveling merchant couldn't drive Pierre out of business since she's not there all the time, she sells different items, and as you said he could also not be aware she even exists because she sells her merchandise in the woods : P

 

I know people can just dig up dialogue or whatever, but NAY! I like finding stuff in the game! And I found this one, which I thought was fairly interesting:


While Pierre's dialogue mostly does involve his shop, I thought this was an interesting detail. He at least tries to be romantic with Caroline, even if they don't spend much time together except at (some) festivals. It makes me wonder who is the one putting the weight on the relationship.

 

Has anyone thought that his secret stash might be gay porn?
I mean, it would explain a lot.

Regarding the *secret stash* there seems to be a few different trains of thought. The most popular one seems to be it's porn of some kind. This makes sense because his marriage is rocky, but it doesn't really make sense by itself because the only thing mentioned is *it's a secret stash*. It could just as easily be a secret stash of wine, a stash of video games, or a stash of women's clothing because he secretly has cross-dressing fantasies! (I rather doubt the cross-dressing one, but who knows for sure?) I guess that's what makes this game so much fun: we all interpret what the secret stash is, based on what we ourselves think it would be. (is Pierre secretly a cross-dresser?)
