Now I'm going to have trouble deciding between these guys and Avians. ;/

 

I think they look awesome! I will almost certainly end up playing one!

 

So am I the only who thinks this?

I don't like the pantless look all that much, but other than that they look great.

it's nice to know that personality affects the characters idle stance.

 

Looks awesome, something tells me that the official race announcement is looming.

 

I like the trees. I actually drew treas like that when I was in honors art once.
Also, my favorite race so far. I wonder if they will have a chitinous shell so they don't have to wear armor.

I like how the bald guy reacts to being help up. Hopefully thats an actual mechanic & not just setup.

 

There was a quote form Tiy saying how he was held up by pirate penguins...I can't rember where it was though.

That's... really interesting!

Look at their hands and legs.
Maybe the bald guy is "timid", the Apex is "trickster" or "calm" and the plant person is "proud", "brave" or "confident".

Of course it could be that the leftmost character is being "held up" and the middle character is threatening with a gun so the two actually aren't using their normal idle poses at all.
The rightmost one definitely has a new pose though.

I really like this idea.
So one character can stand straight up like a soldier or a proud warrior while a sneaky type may be hunched over or look like he/she's gonna snatch something at any second.

 

You still call those plants?

I'm almost sure i've seen this guy pose on an early screenshot ( but on a female character ) .. but can't remember when. So i think it's a set up .. As Last Day says, the guy's pose must be something like "shy", or "girly", etc .. and they used that to do some kind of set up.

But anyway, I think it's very cool that we can choose our pose, it gives a lot of identification to the character.

 

Until we have an official name, yes!
