Phoenix's

Animals that are tameable when baby if it is abandoned, but if it isn't parents will try to hurt or kill you if you tame it
If you have a tame grown phoenix you can fly or swim underwater on its back as a mount for a limited period of time. it gets hungry and will die if given no food. hunger depletes faster when flying or swimming.
There are two types of phoenix;
water and fire
fire phoenix's flies and water one's swims

 

Interesting idea, might be useful but it's so out of place then it isn't really worth it.

A fire phoenix would burn your ass and the water phoenix would wet your ass.
