update on the update progress: Well, I didn't end up finishing it up as quick as I'd have liked, but it's finally reaching its real end stage! I hit a few Lua snags along the way (mostly related to damage balancing; for a while I had a choice of 0 or infinite damage on the newest weapons -.-) but they're pretty much fixed now. All i need to do now is fix up the new ore generation, and things will be ready to ship out! Cya'll then!

This an error that happened to me: Fatal Exception caught: (StarException) An error occurred during loading: (ItemException) Duplicate item name 'cursedtalon' found
It's rather odd that you'd get that error. The only possible ways are duplication, self-merging during update, or Starbound reading files with a '.legacy' extension as if they had a '.sword' extension. I'll remove the legacy items, but make sure to delete previous versions before updating.

Are there any legit ways to get Ice Crystals in this game/mod?? Because one of the Articuno recipes require Ice Crystals, yet I just cannot find a way to craft, or find them for the life of me! I honestly do not want to resort to cheating to nab them, but its seeming like I have no choice in the matter here.
cripes, I coulda sworn there was a way, lemme go look really quick... [EDIT] Ah, here we are. Ice crystals are found near the core of tundra biomes, or in the rare "geometric" biome, cut down the trees.
ALRIGHTY EVERYONE, bit o' news on the latest halting of progress. At the moment, and for most of the forseeable future, all of my starbound projects are dead. In the 1.0 update, Starbound switched up and started using OpenGL 2.0, which none of my pcs are capable of running due to graphics card limitations. I don't have the kind of budget necessary to get something fancier, so I'm unable to so much as launch the game, meaning I cannot functionally create, test or update mods. Plus, with recent events (going on almost a year now) I've run out of time to work on these things or to work on obtaining a pc that would allow me to do so. Thus, from now on, I declare this project officially dead. If anyone would like to help me out and run indev tests for me, I may consider updating one last time to work with 1.0, but that's as far as it'll go. Farewell, and happy blasting in 1.0.
