pets: abilities?

will pets have any abilities? to be more specific will pets be strictly useless and for looks or will they be able to fight and be controlled with possible spells. also my final question is will there be flying pets(dragons?)

 

There are (not the stretch goal ones) Capture Monsters / Taming them and use them in combat with their own special abilities.

About the new announced pets as said, they are only Vanity until they are not, they plan to expand it but NO IDEA for us, community, what would be in their minds

 

wait so we can have captured monsters and pets? that might get confusing.

 

That's why I voted no to that as a Goal. We don't know anything more about how will they be still. Must wait for more info

We only get bagde when +20 USD donated, with pixel version no bagde, no fair, but it's ok ^^

we should do what we think is best, some people may need every bit they can spare, we aren't exactly in a great economy. That said, devs need funding too, but you aren't the guy who should be telling us what we should and shouldn't do. Donating is just that, donating, giving money for support besides paying for the game, because WE WANT to and are able to give extra. if the devs really wanted us to give 20 and not 15, then they would have charged us 20 and not 15.

On topic: i hope they do give pets abilities, or i may just opt out of using them. i feel like if pets are just there as vanity items, they would affect the feel of the game. if i can tell them to stay in my ship and welcome me when i get back tho, that would be really awesome.

 

Maybe the novapets can light up for a while or something?

ehh 20$ where i live is the price of a pizza if you get it delivered... so i dont see a prob with it ... and i wasn't being mean about telling people the should spend more money ^^

 

If they get abilities, I'm going to train them, keep them in balls, and throw them out whenever I feel like battling.

 

the value of a dollar changes drastically throughout the country. in my hometown an orange is usually two to three dollars. at my college the vendors know we're broke so i can usually get four oranges for $1. just because $20 is no problem for you, doesnt mean everybody can afford it. SOME OF US ARE ONLY RICH IN BACON.

lol, yea if i could i would do that too. might work better with the monsters we find on the planets. just keep your eyes out for the tall grass! i suppose pets could be like our starters!
(im going to go to a fire planet and catch a fire-breathing monster and name it Charizard!)
