"Perfectly Generic Item"

The Fish in a Bone recipe still requires a PGI, I think.

So does anyone know of a repeatable way to spawn this item?

While the above question is still valid, I no longer have a need of the answer. I found the mistype in the recipe file for the grappling hook and fixed my problem with the perfectly generic item.

 

You can find these scattered around in chests. I had about 25 of them before the ship wipe, so they're not that rare.

 

I keep getting it whenever i kill animals no i no longer get raw meat i'd rather get raw meat then a green cube lol

 

PGI's are placeholder items, when you create an item but forget something, it will show up as a PGI

 

how do you have a blue matter manipulator

Yeah I got one of those generic thingys from a chest or something. It's taking up space in my ship holds at the moment, could probably just get rid of it.

 

The grappling hook uses durasteel (or titanium plates, can't remember exactly), it must be a placeholder and this an okd pic.

 

Just wanted to say that I have a recipe for something called Corntent... it also required the Perfectly Generic Item.

 

Correct. It's the "Corntent" receipe. Icon looks like a messed up questionmark.

I have a hook and you don't need the generic items to craft one. You need 20 durasteel
