Trying to plant 'wild seeds' (that you get from killing weeds, not the special winter ones) during the winter causes the seeds to be lost 1 at a time as you try to plant.

I would expect the seeds to stay in your inventory and not be lost.

      Hi,

The "Mixed Seeds" are not planted in the winter.

Mixed Seeds are a type of seed that can be planted in any season, except Winter, to grow into a random crop specific to that season. They can be randomly found when cutting grass with a scythe, by digging up dirt or sand with a hoe, or from a Seed Maker. The Forest Farm has a unique type of weed which always drops Mixed Seeds when destroyed.

Mixed Seeds will turn into the following seeds upon planting:

      Season Seeds

      Spring
[IMG] Cauliflower Seeds • [IMG] Parsnip Seeds • [IMG] Potato Seeds

Summer [IMG] Corn Seeds • [IMG] Pepper Seeds • [IMG] Radish Seeds • [IMG] Wheat Seeds

Fall [IMG] Artichoke Seeds • [IMG] Corn Seeds • [IMG] Eggplant Seeds • [IMG] Pumpkin Seeds

Winter Any of the above (Greenhouse only).
