Look, I am not trying to be offensive, but if you don't have a bank account then you're either lazy or underage, in which case you should ask someone else to. I would understand you if this was the final release, but this preorder was mostly intended to fund their development. So adding every single purchase option isn't as necessary.
Not a single in our russian comunity not everyone have bank card and 100-infinity people (around 1500-infinity $ maybe more i don't know) want to buy it. My father don't buy me a game, my mother have visa but it not classic and don't working on Paypal-google-amazon.
In Russia not everyone have a bank account with debit/credit card. I get my first debit card when I was 24 and only one reason to have it was online international payments. I don't need card to buy something in offline store (cash is most popular payment method, some stores can't process cards). For russian e-commerce we use russian payment systems: webmoney, qiwi, yandex-money. So not everyone needs Visa/MasterCard in Russia. Most of cardholders received it from employer for get salary and theese cards very restricted, often without cvc, so you can't pay with it online. In fact with QIWI everyone can get virtual visa and use it for online payments. So if Kostig have QIWI he can get Visa in five minutes.
Ok, I might come out sounding stupid since I haven't read up on it, but I don't think you actually need a debit/credit card. How do you pay your bills? Here we just go to the bank and transfer the money to the company. That's how paypal works..you connect your account's IBAN to paypal, and you can transfer the money there and then pay. Sorry if I'm wrong.
When I need to pay bills... i'm going to company's office and pay with cash OR i'm going to bank with cash to transfer money to company. And in some cases it is the only way even if I have bank account because I need a check to prove that I made this payment. For example if I bought a car I should go to bank to pay duty for registration of property and then I must go to police (vehicle department) and provide the check. I can't pay directly in police department. So I don't need bank account because it does not make my life easier. Cash is most used.
I see, thank you very much for that explanation. Here in Greece most people use cash too. I only got myself a bank account+paypal after moving to the Netherlands, life is much easier with a paypal account since I can shop with it anywhere online.
I pay most of my online game with paysafecard. I'm just a student, I only have a card that can withdraw cash. I wish there was a way to transfer cash from psf to paypal. Didnt find any for now.
