Hey when will we be able to set spawn points form our ships i am finding that when i die and have to walk allllll the way back to my house is rather annoying (and by house i mean one i stole from the original owners )
It look like each time I check the site for news there is a update and I have to start a new character lol.... any way great work on the update so far happy to be part of the beta and looking forward to the next new ( update ) you make. =)
hmm will our old characters be able to transfer their stuff to the new characters? through chests on servers and such?
Just have to take back the thing with the koalifications: Guys, please: Just make it that i dont have to choose between a tech, if i had already had a hard time finding a useful one. That would be nice, you know? I mean, who does that: You are fighting 5 mobs and ran out of bandages so you speed dash to the side, but wait, there is a big hill, better double jump... no. Press "i" first, meaning either leaving your mouse or movement keys for a splitsecond, the hover over to the menu, select the right tech, do the jump (with the menu popping up right in your face btw) and the switch back to dash. Very practical fighting skills. That was btw no cynicism, i just wanted to illustrate how impractical the choice of tech usage is right now (the fact that you can only use one at a time). TL;DR: Please let us use more than one tech at a time.
Been very impressed with the updates so far. I haven't played the game yet (waiting on Automaton phase), but if this keeps up, Automaton will be awesome!
Not sure, but i recall someone already trying that out. Google may find it in the midst of the forums (if you are lucky).
Whew. I see that you nerfed the birds a bit (thank Big Ape)... but they're still noob-killers from hell. Everything on my starting planet this time was doing 10-20ish damage per hit, until I came up against the birds. They don't one-shot me (anymore), but the thorn machine-gun ability (can't remember the name), gas belch ability and cold cloud ability all do upwards of 40 per hit in rapid-fire. Maybe I'm just being a wuss, but... Ow, still. Working much more smoothly in XP, though. Might stick with it longer before I run back to Linux with my tail between my legs.
Turn wood into coal wood into coal!! Thankful for the bird and fall damage nerf. It was ridiculous how I was barely escaping death by birds while running backwards down a cliff and one false move down that cliff would kill me due to fall damage.
While I will be sad to see the gigantic veins of iron, silver, and gold vanish from my starting worlds, I am extremely relieved by some of these changes. Getting ground into a fine paste by four ducks that breath fire is a terrifying thing! Also, my unholy love of clear-cutting the starter world shall now pay off in coal...... excellent. Also, I'm glad my tesla spike setup in my ship will no longer result in painful, embarrassing, accidental death.
Not to sound like a sycophant but I agree I know they are working long hours to get this game to the next level, and I have plenty of respect for thier work ethic...bravo.
