Would it be possible to get the patch sizes posted? This is mainly for those of us who have limited connection speeds so that we can plan out when to update. Personally, I don't have internet in my room, so I have to plan out a trip to a place that has internet and download it that way... -sigh- Can't wait to get back to civilization!
Not sure if a bug or intentional, but has anyone noticed guns seem to be almost useless (@ least in beta sector 1 - 3 damage per shot) just curious if this is a glitch with weapon mechanics or an actual bug.
well seeing as you have liek 100 hp to start with and monsters have like 16? its pretty even atm, and monsters do not always come in packs, but tend to spawn in together when your in the same place for awhile
Maybe if they one day make it similar to terraria where you have to craft ammo (and arrows) they could tweak the damage on that. (have weapons have a set damage) and bullets their own stats.
16 hp? That doesn't matter when they take only 4 damage and I take 22. The first level should be pretty easy, since it is, well, the first level.
That would be cool; the only issue I have had thus far is with ranged weaponry damage, given such a high energy expense for such minor damage in return.
Update plays great so far! I did notice something strange: right clicking while holding a 2-handed flame-type (uncommontier2) weapon will shoot lightning bolts..? Had this with two different 2-handed weapons. Anyone else have this? Does this happen to one-handed flame-type weapons as well? Definitely a bug...
I see that your picture is a reference to Papers, Please and Space Station 13, that is now the coolest avatar I've ever seen.
*sigh* I'm running on 1MB internet, which means my max download at 100kb/s. I MUST Throttle it to 40kbs. And the patch is 500 Mb.... it literally takes me a whole day (you know, family got to use the internet too). I've downloaded a total of 1.5 gigabytes worth of Starbound data in a span of 4 days. It's excruciatingly painful. We're like villages without a source of water, and having to rek miles to the nearest river to fetch a tiny bit back </melodrama> If it's not too much, is it possible to have one or two consistent patch days? Pile up all the updates and launch them in one go. This gives your staff a bit of time to check for major game-breaking bugs and not scramble to fix up a live test. I've spent a TON more time downloading (8 to 9 hours per patch) than actually PLAYING the game.
