    I KNEW those birds were getting frisky after a recent update...I just couldn't put my beak on it. You'd think being an avian would protect me from birds altogether, but apparently not...

    WAIT

    Maybe the birds KNOW that the avians can't fly, so they bully us knowing we can't reach them.

    LIKE HOW OUR NEIGHBOR'S CAT SITS ON OUR FENCE AND BULLIES OUR DOG.

    IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE.

    NERF THE BIRDS! MAKE THEM WALK TOO. THOSE BASTARDS.

    Only thing I've noticed is new characters seem to start with one bar of health missing.

    Omg, Thank you! it was so annoying trying to run away from birds... And when trying to look for coal noticing I didn't have enough torches to see in caves to get more coal it was upsetting but this Is truely a great patch. Awesome work guys as always

    Birds still seem to hunt me down from far away. even after making a house with a back wall and 2 layer thick walls they still seem to want me dead from my roof. Its even worse that its the birds that have the mist attack that goes through blocks. Ive made a new character and deleted all my world data trying to see if the patch just hadn't worked itself in yet but to no avail. I don't mind losing characters since this is beta so im not complaining about that im just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

    Almost finished downloading. I am happy that I get to keep the character for a little while longer because I really want to explore gamma sector and more, for some reason in beta sector I still keep getting the double dash and jump techs (found more than 10 of those in beta, but not a single other tech??).
    Will trash my weapons and craft new ones and find new ones, perhaps craft new armor, so at least the balancing for the current sector will be okay!
    Great to see that wood can be used as fuel again, and that the lvl 1 planets don't spawn more gold on the surface than copper/coal.

    Really enjoying it thus far, so very curious as to what this new patch will bring!

    Keep up the good work guys. There's a long road ahead. It must be a challenge taking in everyone's feedback and applying it towards designing a satisfying game. But so far, good stuff!

    Yeah having a craft able spawn/locator beacon would be nice.

    Also the idea of being able to upgrade your ship, respray it, remodel it would be kinda badass too ;) I know this will be additional stuff they can consider once the core game is further along.

    So does just deleting your character on a multiplayer server work the same as single player for applying the fixes?

    Now if we can get some control with ship navigation like a back button or a way to log planets we want to go back to would be nice

    That's impressive how the most pressing matters are solved in just one day. The game is rather playable after the last update. The most important feature that I want implemented next is binding hotkeys. Hitting keys like 6789 with left hand is almost impossible without leaving wasd. Making specific hotkeys for things such as grapple and drill/torchlight(like shift + click in terraria) are needed as well. Also since we have 2 hands maybe it's reasonable to bind item pairs to hotkeys instead of hotkey for the left hand and shift+hotkey for the right? For example I want to bind 2 pistols on button "1", 2 swords on button "2", 2-handed sword to button "3" and so on.

    Also really looking forward to alternative weapon attacks and enabling us to use multiple tech upgrades(like dash and double jump) at once.

    Time for some feedback I should have made ages ago!

    Chest inventory really should have more slots and it should scale according to their size (I know this is sort-of in the game already). Would be good to have Terraria-sized* chests, or maybe even larger!

    Right now I have so much food and too little space to store them. It's silly to have a small chest store huge anvils and furnaces but the same chest is only able to store 16 seeds ):

    *by that I mean storage with as much capacity as those in Terraria

    the birds that blow bubbles are still a bit overpowered, they still "one shot" me even though technically i think each bubbles does separate damage

    So does this mean that ore spawns has been nerfed? I was swimming in silver, gold and diamons after a few hours on a particullary resource heavy planet, but I noticed silver and gold veins all over the place on all the planets I visited. Also, as mentioned, has guns been nerfed to hard? I found one of those airship stores and bought 3 different guns, and they are all useless save maybe the sniper, that did about the same damage as my current iron bow.
    Example: shotgun, only one pellets out of the bunch seems to trigger a hit, and it does only 1-2 dmg while using up all my energy in 2 shots fired compared to the iron bows 10~ dmg.

    Realy want to see more combat variety, I miss having access to an early merchant like terraria for one use only items to at least spice things up a bit, right now 70% or so of the fights are won the same way, by jump starfing and holding down the left mouse key... The rest is usualy the bow, or building terrain + bow.

    I think it's for admin powers if you have the config set to not anyone can use admin. I think there is two different passwords as well. A server password which can be upto 3 different passwords then I believe there can be 3 admin level passwords that correspond with the username. I could be mistaken though I haven't tested myself. The server defaults to no password. You'll need to set one yourself.

    I've been lurking for a whole but I figured I should say something. Regardless of the current state of the game, what y'all have done is very impressive, and for that I thank the team for the what they've made and how they've been continuing to improve upon it.

    I will agree with RealityGlitch that I've found the ballistic weapons to be rather underwhelming.

    How difficult would it be at some point to install race-specific 'resistances;' example being Hylotl being able to stay underwater for longer periods of time than other races? Just to add even more spice to the game beyond the cosmetic aspects of 6 races. Just curious.

    *Should I be playing the GL or normal version; it wasn't made clear to me I suppose*
