I got another idea which involves a sort of party system. The system is used only when you're at some safe point such as your ship. The party has them help you, and your adventure because a good adventurer is alone without some friends. At first there will be a relationship system from Rival to Best Friends, and possibly more depending on the gender of the NPC or player, and now on to the nitty gritty of the system. The system allows you to have your party fight for you or do certain jobs such as collect x or kill x. They will have a energy bar which allows some restriction of the party member so it isn't "AFKbound". The faction system is also a way to enhance the RPG feel which is good in any sandbox game. The factions allow a person to start on the factions owned planet. The system allows dynamic relationships to the other factions. "Note: The factions won't have the same relationships over and over again, but they will be different everytime you start a new character. So say X hates Y in one place, but in another X is allies with Y." The factions also influence the Party members you get, but some members are neutral so you can get them from anywhere. So what do you guys think of the idea? "Note: If the devolpers are very intent on the game project,and only if they are I want this suggestion put into the game even if they see it. It will probably require a lot of coding and sprites, so i don't want to devolpers stress over this idea, and more importantly the game."
