Closed Pair of Death Issues

So after dying a lot a handful of times, I noticed a couple of problems. First of all, shields remember their health when you died. I suppose this could be intentional, but it doesn't make any sense to me that your character is brought back fully restored from the dead, but his/her shield still needs a breather.

Second of all, with no rhyme or reason that I can discern, your character goes through the respawn animation twice. You don't lose any additional pixels or anything, but it's annoying...

 

Are you experiencing this on Stable or Unstable?

 

Unstable. ...So I guess this needs to be moved.
