Starboard should have an NPC in orbit station to fully paint your ship so that there is more variety Hover bike,board,or car that can be stored in a certain tear of ship that the hover vehicle can be teleported down to the surface of a planet at any time and all you have to do is get fuel.It could even be a mission. You go to the outpost and later in your quests you find a hover dealer that asks you to do_____ for him and then opens his hover shop to you.
You can use the paint gun to customize the Inner colors of the wall, but the outside is no if thats what your saying... but i kinda like that you can ships are the way they are... it keeps things from getting TO outrageous
