For some reason, I can't join anyone's server, can you teach me please?

 

Ensure your ports are forwarded

Protocol: TCP

 

I forwarded my ports with a TCP protocol and everything, still doesn't work

 

i cant connect it keeps tellinf me wrong password

 

go into your starbound config file and remove any passwords, theirs none on the server.

 

Some jerks spawned like 200 dragons and no freaking F*ck was given. lagged like hell, asked for server restart. No one cared. Left server again, Never join this again.

I don't magically know what's happening on the server. Those go directly to my phone.

 

Tried to join your server but its not letting me because I have custom music... Guess I will try another server.

Stuff like the assets digest should be mentioned on your server promotion thread. That way people will know before they attempt to join.

 

Thought that would be a given as it opens up alot of vulnerabilities for using hacked assets. And we do have the [Vanilla] tag but I'll further explain it.

 

Also we're now running a new console that gives the admins more ability to kick and ban. Be sure to use http://overlordgaming.us/ban.htm to report any problems.

 

You are right, Vanilla. At first I thought it meant the server was vanilla. Now I know the players must be vanilla too.

 

If I was able to allow custom music I would. Unfortunately theirs only one blanket option for assets.

 

Dr Honk - Banned 1 Hour for intentional glitching.

 

25 player cap added, we will be upgrading our server box in the coming days and may look into upping this. But for the time being because of the betas heavy CPU usage this cap is necessary.

Yeah I won't do that again don't worry. I got over ecstatic with some of the glitching in this game, and wanted to bug-test it on live.

First off, it does work. Secondly, you have my word I won't do it again.

 

It's no problem, theirs a reason it wasn't a perm ban.

Also the website and server have been upgraded. Should be less susceptible to lag spikes

 

I still can't join your server

 

It keeps saying Join Failed : Error connecting to "server name"
