Overloading Magma Worm does not approve of character diversity

So how about an artifact specifically made to prevent them from spawning? Or a mod to prevent them from spawning? Or just removing them entirely? They end every single run I have that I do die in and are generally just extremely annoying to play around. Only a select few classes can take them on easily (or rather, can take them on without a massive risk of being killed in the process), and I don't want to play those same few classes all the time. Seriously, I despise this enemy type and I would greatly appreciate some way to remove them from the spawn list.

Note: I am not asking for them to be removed entirely so don't say anything about that.
