I'm just going to come out and say that mobile OS ports are fucking dumb.

Those all rely on game pad joysticks. I've heard the Ouya is selling out. No really. Google "Ouya Selling Out". It's only 99 bucks. Supports keyboard, mouse, and modding! No one else sees Starbound Box written all over this thing?

Edit: Hasn't Chucklefish already win a unit?

    A port to 3DS isn't too likely, sadly. :(

For now, I just want it to come out for PC. :geek:

  6. I want to be totally clear that while Ouya gave us a dev kit, we in no way confirmed that we'd be porting Starbound to Ouya.
That doesn't mean we never will, but we haven't confirmed it as many people are reporting. :)

On release, Starbound will be available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

If (probably when) Starbound is at least as successful as Terraria, then there's a very high chance of seeing it on the 360/One, PS3/PS4, and Wii U digital stores.

The 3DS and PSV? Not so much. That's not to say the these two consoles can't play Starbound (I don't know the requirements); it's just that the game is shaping up to be the kind that you play in longer play sessions that's not suited for handheld consoles.

If these two statements are true, then isn't Ouya falsely advertising?

Having Starbound on 3DS would be cool, because I plan to get one to play Pokemon Y and the monster hunter game on the 3DS. But that might also be bad because then I would never play Monster Hunter or Pokemon, lol. Starbound would be too tempting.

Although i kind of think nintendo hates indie developers

    I don't know, man.
The OUYA is weaker than my iPod.

Why not just connect your PC to your TV?

Heck no, man. Nintendo has really trying to push they're indie games. They have a whole section of indie games in the eShop.
Plus 2 incredible games that are coming: Armikrog and A Hat in time.

Can I just post this for everyone to see:

You can build a perfectly good gaming PC at least $350.

    Also... there's this.

you know how long it took for those games to come? I boguht the 3ds at launch for a lot more money than it costs now, which wasn't worth it at all. The 3ds is a huge disappointment to me. The only good reason to have it (at least to me) is to play the new phoenix wright game that'l lcome out soon.
