We are seeking like minded individuals to search the galaxies far away hoping to found colonies that one day may represent the best civilization our races have ever seen. What O.R.E Provides Outer Rim Explorers will give players a constant universe to explore with a diverse set of job roles to fulfill. O.R.E will help with crafting, learning the game and might in the future head towards this goal. We will provide a friendly and affable environment in which to play and relax. O.R.E will have both relaxed and structured game sessions to help everyone of all skill sets enjoy this fabulous game. Values and Ethics We value all life and strive to respect everyone. Current Corporation Needs We are seeking all people of all races and skill sets. We need a variety of job roles to be fulfilled. Only requirement is a fully functioning ship and the ambition to explore. Job Roles CEO (Job is Filled) Social Explorers (Unlimited Openings) The bread and butter of O.R.E. These folks explore the planets first and foremost. They will be tasked with discovery and exploration. Union Explorers (Unlimited Openings) Another much needed position. These fellow explorers work alone or in small groups. These folks work at odd hours or enjoy a more structured environment. They will review and take on exploration jobs from a TBD method. They will then explore and either report their findings in a document (with template) or turn in a video of their exploration. (This is meant for serious play for those that like playing with specific, set goals) Field Reporter (1 Opening - Fraps or Streaming) We are need of someone who can record our various adventures to be released to the public or to be used internally. Fraps and/or streaming is a absolute requirement for this job. Field Engineer (2 Openings) These people are responsible for building the forward bases as the others explore. They will craft suitable amenities for a exploratory visit and also provide the backbone for the colonists later if the planet is deemed worthy. Field Medics (2+ Openings) Responsible for keeping everyone alive during the exploration of new planets. Colonist (Unlimited Openings) These folks are tasked with created a new, livable environment. They will create permanent bases, gather crafting materials to sustain these bases and help facilitate newcomers (NPCs) to the planet. Jobs on each planet will be assigned by a colonist foreman. Schedule A decent scheduled meeting time will be established. We will take the first half hour as a meeting of the corporation after which we will commence exploration. The meeting is in character, in game, but done in voice chat with a TBD software suite. O.R.E Requirements The only thing we expect from our players is to follow the values and ethics set forth by management. We are a corporation after all. There are no dues and there will never be.
