Psyched for the update, but wish I didn't know about the character wipe so I could play without knowing it is for nothing.

Oh well, now just pre-exploring some random planets for my new character.

Does the update mark stage 2 of the beta, or will we still be in stage 1 and can continue to expect wipes?

 

I'm doing the same thing. That and building houses and taking screenshots of ALL the things so that I can attempt to replicate post-wipe.

We should keep All Slurs off the forums, period. Be they about gays, straights, races, religions, whatever. We're here to play a game, not to be racist or sexist And not to flaunt our preferred sexuality onto others. This is a game site, not a hook-up place. I could say "Hey, are there any hot girls out there who want to play Starbound and then later have a three-some with a consenting married couple?" , but this really isn't the place for that. All any of us should be asking as far as multiplayer goes is "Does anyone want to play Starbound with me?". The only limiting factor I would say is ok to mention in a post like that would be "Are there any other adult players who want to play Starbound?", and even that's only to prevent someone from talking about a adult topic and not wanting to talk about it in front of a minor for obvious reasons.

 

I appreciate where you're coming from, but being a lesbian, I get this crap way too often to not call people out on it. Homophobia doesnt' disappear if you ignore it. It disappears if you confront it.

In the next update I would like to see Saplings that drop from the trees. I think that would be pretty cool, you will never run out of trees on your planet!

 

Also being a lesbian, I get it way too often to not call people out on it too. But it's never going to disappear no matter how much you fight it. In fact, it will only get worse. It's the same with bullying of ANY form. Just a sad fact of life. Learning to not be offended is much more effective, I've found.

But to not get too far off-topic, this patch is gonna be suh-weeeeet.
