Oh, like i said, i wasn't being mean or anything. i was simply stating that it's agonizing i have to wait such a long time because my cap of downloading peaks at 300kbps on average, so it takes an hour or so to update, idk, haven't timed it. But I've been waiting for this game since February of this year i believe, and i really wanted to play it whenever i feel like jumping back into it with what little time i do have to play it. I'm not saying at all they're doing a bad job, it's the opposite, they're doing TOO GOOD a job. slow down a bit, pace yourselves, and let us test the game at each stage more fleshed out rather than a 2 day update pasted together to try and make the masses happy. you're doing a great job chuckle fish, keep it up, but calm down and make the game yours, not beta hungry flesh-mongers(like myself).
This guy right here deserves a piece of my heart. Sonic fan? Genesis/mega drive? Atari? VHS player? You, sir, are enlightened in the ways of visual entertainment. [note, i said VISUAL, not DIGITAL. VHS is analog media as far as i can remember <_< ]
Thanks for the info and i see the changelog history here http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?threads/info-beta-changelogs-and-release-notes.46048/ But i think they need put in this same place the weapon damage fixed info.
2 patchs today? one of 700 mb and other with 500... why is this possible?... So the release of starbound could be 10 gb?
Gotta eat that hard drive space, we *are* keeping infinite universes and planets in our drives, y'know!
HOLY GOD DAMN IT JUST KEEPS COMING The patches are the size they are because the game's executable file is over 600 megabytes. The second update today was a hotfix for the weapon damage Please stop stopping me from hanging myself my lungs My lungs long for sweet release from this torment Please help me
No no you got it all wrong. They're planning on making the stage 2 of the beta patches weight 1 GB each. By the end the game should be about 200 GB, yes. Have a good day. I SAID GOOD DAY SIR.
no no it's not theRE ARE THREE THOUSAND REPLIES HOW DO YOU KEEP TRACK OF THREE THOUSAND REPLEIES?!???? ?? ? ? ??? ? ? ???
So far, that's been my only complaint about the development cycle, the info is spread out EVERYWHERE. If you aren't following on twitter, irc, Reddit, these forums, and Facebook, you're missing something at some point. I think it's about time for a centralized information distribution method. Either way though, I'll still just plug along and report bugs as I find them. ^_^
Your never have bliss, organized questioning with every person logging in and reading recent pages to find out their answers due to passive ignorance (no disrespect to the questioners lol) You should do what I do _Providence and not let it irritate you... It's rough tines for the Starbound community and will be for a while yet. PS: Don't do it... It's not worth it!
woo~, hard drive read error from steam, so now i have to 'reacquire' 469 files, meaning i still have to wait for it to update again....yay.
