Alternately, and this is a pretty out there suggestion... Be patient. It's worked for me so far. **NO NOT THE JIMMIES TO THE RUSTLE SHELTER
Hey gaiz. The patch has been released as of... like, 2 AM last night EST. On that note, any idea when the ore spawning will be fixed?
What's next? Will it be wiped or not? Why developers keep silence? I pay for game, but now i cannot play, cause my proggres may be deleted in every moment. Tell about yours plan please, what i should expect. Sorry for rough english. Thank you.
But which patch do you mean they ask?! It's question time with me your host ping, and our guest pong! Before you ask we're still waiting on the patch, bandage and possible ibuprofen after that. And by the sound of things, some sort of anti-crab cream and rustling deterrent!
I was running a test server and did pretty much the same thing, next thing I know, the server crashes. I'm not complaining, now I know that I'll have to find a better system. (Plus I enjoy having to be careful around sand, I've screwed myself many times by not paying attention.
They're both good in their own way, but the original will always be a family classic. I'm surprised anybody knew who she was. Without too much knowledge on the subject, I figured mostly everyone on this particular forum would have been too young to recognize the original Veruca Salt.
Regarding the fuel change, I have to say, I understand both sides of the argument. I think it's a matter of preference, in the case of how you decide to use your resources.I, personally, find myself using up the major part of coal I mine to make torches, to light my way around caves and dark dungeons. So I usually end up having to look for more, which, in turn, makes me use more. Not to mention all the other recipes that call for coal. On the other hand, wood is really easy to get, and there aren't as many "important" recipes that call for it. However, it being so easy to get, and the amount it takes to fuel the ship, makes obtaining it seem like a mandatory, tedious project. Something both sides could be happy with, is the ability to smelt refined wood (whatever amount seems most logical) , in return for a chunk of charcoal, which could be used to fuel a ship. Adding an additional step to the wood fueling option, I think, balances out both, so you have an equal amount of work if you want to go the wood route, or the coal route.
No update here, and the subreddit hasn't mentioned anything. Likely they're just catching the update from last night.
I liked it better when I was watching the news and eating dinner, my brain hurt less. (Somehow, as I was watching the local politicians talking. That never really makes sense, but... It was a relief this time. . .)
this new update has some quirks and it overdid some things, you take way too much damage now both from low level creatures and from simple falls. i used to be able to safely jump off a ledge (not ridiculously high ones) and take no damage or very little, now you can easily take 80+ damage from similar heights. on the upside some things are faster, mining, chopping, healing, and you dont get hungry too quickly. obviously this is gonna need some serious tweaking and more performance optimization would be nice too.
