Why cant more people have your kind of mentality instead of raging and flaming aimlessly, actually taking the beta as a beta, and not a fully released game as a lot of quacks here are. Keep testing, we need more like you here ^^

Indeed they are for the released product, but if anything, the minimum requirement should be anticipated above the beta level rather than below it. They don't need beta testers that can't run the game.

 

That way of thinking significantly decreases feedback and decreases beta processing speed. I am kinda sure that if I pay for beta access, and it is what I and everyone here paid for basically, I gain right of playing it. If I got it, I need the game to launch without dancing with drums around it for 20 minutes. If a pay for access, and get junk instead of it, I paid for junk without being informed that I buy junk. Now, if it is way too complicated to understand, let's be simple as in nursery school.Money is way of exchanging. It is basically like giving meat fot leather, but with some sort of standart. So, you exchange that bronze circles (coins) or pieces of paper(banknotes) for goods. If you paid( gave somebody your papers and circles), that person should give you what you paid for. If that person doesn't give it to you, or gives worse things that you tried to obtain, it is bad.It is not a good person and it is not what that person is supposed to do. So we now know the basics, let's move on. I paid for being able to play beta. Now it turns out that I paid for being able to stare at a nice "Loading" sign. In my circles and papers example, it means that somebody did not give me what I paid for. That means that they are wrong and don't care about it.

 

They should try posting updates on their site, and not just Shitter

 

Okay, then please, enlighten me. What are the questions you have that the dev teams' answers aren't answering for you? Where is their communication lacking? What have they done, thus far, that hasn't said to you, "We're doing everything we can to listen to your responses and are working on ways to fix everything for everyone's benefit?"

If this wasn't your intended message, if this isn't what you meant by saying,

then why did you make the post in the first place? There was no reason at all for this message if you had nothing to say except that the dev team needs to pay more and more attention to its play testers, because in all actuality, the attention they're giving us is more than enough.

 

Um, is Unrefined wood no longer a valid fuel for the ships? Because my ship won't accept it as fuel anymore. I've tried it on a couple of characters, and it's the same for those too.
If anyone knows about this, can ya let me know? I've read through the new patch notes and don't recall seeing anything about it, but I might've missed it. So hoping one of you folks can help me out.

You clearly didn't read closely enough at what you were buying. You purchased the opportunity to play an early version of the game which contains bugs. One bug is that it doesn't work on your system.

It is right for you to bring it to the attention of the devs. It is wrong for you to complain about what you are entitled to. You knew what you were getting into. And if you didn't, then it's your own fault.

With the 12/10 update all my characters disapeared, I already have 46 hours of gameplay progrees so I'm gonna be super pissed if there's not a fix. Please tell me there's a fix, I need one.

If you had bothered to read any of my prior responses, you would already have the answer.

Feel free to take the time to inform yourself, hopefully before posting again so that you don't keep ending up with your foot in your mouth due solely to preventable ignorance. I do appreciate you openly admitting that you just jumped all over me without any idea of the conversation that had been taking place though, even if you didn't realize you were doing so by making the above statement.

I'm not going to waste my time and effort re-explaining something I quite clearly explained already, just for the benefit of someone who is unable to comprehend the meaning. Sorry, no dice.

Betatesting can be tedious, but mostly fun, and i rather beta test a game of this sort then the next call of poopy again

 

Fix for what? I hope you're not talking about the character wipe? Because at this point, you have to be nothing other than retarded to not understand that the character wipe was intended, and was not a bug - but you couldn't possibly be talking about the character wipe, so what is it that you are talking about? what bug?

 

It has been said many times to NOT to play the STAGE 1 of BETA if you do not want your character wiped.

 

ALL of our characters were deleted.
If you bothered reading anything this past week you should have known in advance that our characters were going to be deleted.
So no, there is no fix.
If you don't want things to be wiped then don't play beta and wait for the official release.

I swear people need to learn how to read things. It's good for you.

 

That's a part of the first stage of the beta. It's been outlined, even recently, that this was going to happen multiple times. So don't expect this to the be the last time your characters are wiped. And make sure you pay attention to what the devs communicate.

 

There is nothing "clear" about your attached picture - the word "MAY" was used and cap'd - what gave you the idea that this was a clear fact? *smh*
