Other bits and pieces coming with the balance update

if you guys are not following the live stream that is live now... the update is currently being sent to be tested.. so if no major problems pop up.. we could get it early tonight...

While we're waiting and as my character will most surely get deleted I'd like to waste some time talking about Cutelicker.

Now... when I was making a character I hadn't read anything about the races so assumed the Florans were peaceful flowers - I was in a very positive mood that day.

So the randomizing gave my Floran the name Cutelicker. Imagine my surprise when I started reading the codex. Cutelicker was all that more awesome.

So cutelicker circumvented the planet, killed all trees and an apex subliminal indoctrination facility. Then found out those snow clothes are really awesome and travelled to a snow planet where she found Florans... they were half naked in the snow wtf... so after a long battle they died.

So as this update resets our characters I'd like to give a tribute to Cutelicker - mah girl that lived fast and will never be forgotten.

I can also confirm "Drills"... those are being coded right now, and we seen them in action on live steam, you guys are missing out.

I just want to know about the Novakids and if anyone in the stream saw mention of them, or is that too much to ask?

I can't tell for sure but read that novakids are not being brought in this update.

 

i think some 12 year olds have taken over this thread

 

novakids aren't going to be released for a while. Omni isn't currently working on this update, he's working on the next update - drills, alt attacks for weapons (at least the hunting knife was demoed anyway)

As far as I understand anyway. Devs are playtesting, anything Omni is working on is for a future patch.

 

Any word on ships? I... well I admit I have SOME hoarding tendencies... I run out of room....

 

Are there any discussions going on related to the game update btw?
