OSX 10.9 Loading Screen

    The Chucklefish loads up, does its little laugh, and then that screen sits for a good 30-40 seconds before the main screen appears. Is this normal? It really threw me off the first time -- I almost force quit thinking the program had hung.

    It starts up quite quickly for me, maybe 5-10 seconds even though I'm on the same OS. How about your RAM, could this be the reason? I'm running the game smoothly with 8GB.

    I've got 16GB, so I don't think that's it. I timed it last load-up -- takes 55 seconds to get past that screen.
