I'm interested in seeing what kind of things can be made from Impervium. And as far a Uranium goes, that has me very excited, as I wonder how long it will fuel a ship.

 

I'm really hoping they use the material in a way other than "hey guys look at my LE RAINBOW xD"

Give it some actual purposes and don't make it into a joke.

Also, Forcetrium is getting dangerously close to the category of references that irritate me, but it's subtle enough that I'll put up with it.

 

I better be allowed to make super rainbow armor out of that Rainbow Rock. *Shakes fist* :I

Looks good though. If it is confirmed then it means that adding new ore looks like it's going to be relatively simple. I'm wondering if you can make glowing ore by adding a small filter, since being able to make some awesome glowing space armor would be, well, awesome.

Kyrenite and Omnisteel is my favorite because reasons unknown.

It is actually I, as you can see from the artstyle.

 

I can imagine people giving newcomers wooden swords and telling them that it's dangerous to go alone.

I hope wooden swords can be implemented. And arrows. We need more arrow to the knee jokes too.

the very fact that it's old makes me all the happier. even if there have been no changes in variety or anything like that added, this amount of ores is awesome, but since it's older, there's a chance that you guys have added even more to it already.

You act as if everything in a video game has to make sense. Despite many things possibly having some scientific/pseudo-scientific reasoning behind things, you still hit the fact that we are dealing with a fictional setting. Key word being fictional.

Though, yes, 'bacon ore' is rather silly.

... though now I'd like to see a joke planet or something made entirely out of food.

I really don't see an issue with small little references to other things in a game. If such references aren't obtrusive and done in a way that it's not really 'in your face', then why should it matter so much?
