As he should have been. The entire community is frothing at the mouth like a bunch of escaped psychopaths and 50% of them haven't been waiting for the game for less than a few weeks.
It's like sharks waiting to be fed half of the time. I would be upset too.

That said Tiy always seems to be popping content out once in awhile... Wait. He was upset over this one?! Oh dear. Well... some of those metals are obviously named after devs. And the game is quite open to change in the meantime. Although if I was Tiy, Id be quite alarmed indeed. Someone leaked info from a secure source. Someone (probably tons of people ) are DYING to know what the game is like by this point (Some I think literally ) and are quite willing to break in to steal some info ... Hackers. Whatcha gonna do with em.

 

Seria only edited the original post because people were asking where the information was from every post after the original.

We know who leaked the information and how it was done already. There's no qualms about that, it's how radical people are becoming.
If we were to claim intelligence I'd be the last to do so.

A old print leak? eheheh you can't even imagine what changes from old prints to the final version, that could already be completely changed.

 

Oh wowzers. All this reaction because a tiny little bit of information about the game was released to us. Why is everyone on the development side so obsessed with keeping as much as possible from us? This shouldn't even matter. Oh no! Some surface details about the names and appearances of some objects in the game were leaked, by way of an old development image! Kill everyone and shut it all down! As a fan, I'm finding the overreaction to this obscenely minor leak, offensive. God forbid we get any insight to how the game is going.

 

Tiy only wants to show finished parts of the game, so people won't get the wrong impression and such.

 

Tiy's mentioned it on a few steams he's not putting it out, this is getting a bit frustrating seeing more people posting about wanting Beta soon. I've had my own personally impatience, but that was little worry, and as Tiy put it on that Hour 48 stream where he made a brief appearance, he doesn't want a feature that isn't implemented yet, and would otherwise leave a gap. I can imagine that if something (say, in this case, mining resources), were not yet fully implemented, and Beta now meant it would be absent from the game, said weak-minded souls would probably lose their shit that they didn't get everything they wanted and were 'entitled' to have before the game was officially Released.

 

Usually the first thing people like to do here is when new content is released, is to analyze it thoroughly. Thats why you get this reaction when somethiung, even something old, comes out.

We are that excited. Im guessing Hype is as much an enemy to Tiy as it is to us.

 

Eh. A leak's a leak I suppose. Usually, game features won't make a complete 180 degree shift in the span of month (unless it doesn't work), so if the shoe fits....

Good point. A finished feature is a best feature.

Steel is an entirely different material than it's parents, so it only makes sense to have it be it's own byproduct. Blacksmith's don't just simply craft a steel chair, do they? No. Instead, they create steel, then create the steel chair. It only makes sense.

 

I wonder if metals like Tin and Bronze, so on and so forth will be added. But then again, since I have a craving for Science, I found Gregtech rather enjoyable
