Bug/Issue Ore Checking Quest Bug

I accepted a quest to show Clint 25 copper ore. I brought 25 copper ore to show him, but the quest did not complete. I checked my quest journal and it said 20/25 copper collected, despite having 25. I opened a geode and got 20 more copper, which allowed me to complete the quest.

 

This happened again, but now that I think about it, the quest might actually to go get 25 NEW copper ores, from the mines or some other source, and wont count ores you already had in storage? That would certainly make sense given the context of the quest...

If this is the case, I think the quest details should tell you this specifically.

Edit: you can actually just drop ores and pick them back up to complete the quest...

 

Yes you need "new" ores. But thanks for the tip to drop the ores.
