1. When making a thread, please tag your thread accordingly using the menu to the left of the textfield where you name your thread where applicable. Server Advertisements and Mod Releases should be contained to their respective subforums.

Server Help Only 4 players

    Hi there!

    We have a problem. Only 4 players can join on our server. I maked changes in the starbound.config file.
    I set "maxPlayers":"4", to "maxPlayers":"80",

    I restart the server and it's overwrited to "maxPlayers":"4"

    Has anyone an idea?

    Maxplayers for me is 8 by default. Did you change the config file when everything starbound related was closed (server, client)?
    I could imagine, that if you change it while something of this is running and THEN restart everything it overwrites the file to what it was while closing it.
