one small problem with the music stream. not the music.

so the music was amazing, but i noticed one thing that kept bugging. rho's cape. it makes sense why i haven't seen this issue yet, but the after just one step, the cape acts as though a massive gust of wind hit it and it is ready to flap behind you. it looks cool most of the time, but when you start slowly tip toeing on cliff faces it will get super annoying and it might distract you from staying alive. i am proposing that there are at least two frames all capes must pass through to go from standing still to running and vice versa. also i think the cape should stay at the lower one of those two degrees when you crouch walk. i know this is really picky, but for a game that's all about the fine details and polish this is a needed aesthetic feature.

 

Yeah, that makes sense. I actually would nitpick it flapping in the wind like I'm going 40 miles per hour and yet I'm as you said tip-toeing.

 

All video game capes are required by law to have Anime Physics.

She has gas, and it comes out when she even moves a leg muscle.

 

I did notice this, but I assume it's just like that temporarily. Alternately, they couldn't think of a better way to do it without having to give each cape several animation frames.

And yes, I agree that it would get annoying. Not everyone wants to act like [Insert Japanese animation character here]

 

with the genius they have behind STARBOUND i'm sure they could improve on the capes without it being a daily update.
