I don't have much to say but, If any modders out there watches one punch man, can you please make a one punch man mod. With clothes, a weapon that lets you kill every enemy and one punch and other things. I would really appreciate it
Wouldn't it be a bit OP though? As fun as it would be to kill bosses in one hit, It would defeat the purpose of exploration and survival IMO But meep, there's a mod for everything so why not
Saitama is OP. That's the literal plot of the story - Saitama is invincible, nothing can beat him, and he's depressed. So, what happens? The plot develops around other characters that interact with Saitama. Genos, the House of Evolution, Hammerhead, Speed o' Sound Sonic, etc. Heck, Saitama even started the Hero Organization when he defeated Crablante three years prior to the stories in OPM... anyway. Translating OPM into the game is actually fairly difficult. I'd say the best way to do it is with two activeitem weapons called "The [direction] Glove of Caped Baldy" which do ridiculous damage and apply a status effect when used together that turns the character into Saitama. It has a special move called "Serious But Not-So-Serious Punch". which is essentially a shockwave that obliterates everything in its path like in the sparring match with Genos. And then... you can add other characters effects, but it would require lua and that is beyond me.
haha 'angel rush' i would personally love to make a mod like this and i do have my own little extension which adds the main costumes of some characters - the problem of strength still prevails though.
that would be an easy task as an interface. but how would you rank up? and would you have to be your own hero or would you unlock other heroes' powers? (for example unlocking genos' flamethrower when you reach S rank)
If applicabble, perhaps have monsters simply boost up your ranks like how exp would level you up, and hunting down the new unique monsters atleast once will boost it up a ton, especially mission bosses. For unlocking heroes' powers? By ranks does seem like a good progress system. Once you surpass their ranks, you somehow get either a tech or some items of that hero. Not sure if its the best solution but it seems it makes sense.
sounds like a plan. leveling up by ways of monsters could be done by creating a special drop which is then put into the 'hero database' object and used like a refinery to rank the hero up.
Making the Hero's Association an actual place you can teleport to, like The Outpost, would be cool. They could give you quests that require killing certain monsters, have monsters that are ranked with the Wolf, Tiger, Demon, Dragon and God scale, have certain class monsters only assigned to you when you are a certain class, etc. Adding in other heros as sprites just wandering around the Association would be a cool feature too
in this way the only way to 'rank up' would be to complete the quests and receive a dialog but it would still be better.
