One Block of Poison Water and Lava

and this is why I try to always carry fine sand with me....

 

I pretty much ignore poisons after tier 2 or so, but the lava ones can make you rage when you decide not to play it safe, then see melting.

 

ok so im having an epic escape from the deep underground only to get killed by 1 lava block only feet from the surface....wow.....just wow

 

Lava barely does more than poison damage to my Hylotl in full impervium.... is that because of the armor's insulation or has lava been nerfed? It used to kill me in 2 ticks time.

 

honestly im not sure ...one time i was trapped in an entire lake of lava and thought i was screwed but i managed to jump out of it....and then i die to a tiny lava spec....

 

Actually.... I had a neat experience. Ever go mining in gravel? Well, I had it to the point where my head was still exposed to air, the gravel falling and setteling into a \__/ shape around me and then about two blocks worth of water come down and then i started drowning

 

Gravel doesn't absorb water/poison like fine sand does?
