    I found him, a good indicator he's somewhere around are lanterns, meditating frog statues and weird castle turret like structures with no blocks in the background for a foot or two. He sells bombs for insanely cheap and silver/gold pickaxes for a decent deal. Seriously, waste all your pixels on bombs for mini bosses!
