On a scale to 1 - (your choice), how much do you like Starbound?

  1. Don't be snide, your warnings were deserved. And if you have a problem with them, you can message me privately -- or challenge them with my superiors.

I'd give it a 5. 5 is a close enough approximation to infinity.

Forsooth, I'm having more fun trying to figure out ways to get what I want in mods out of challenging the game's system, and hoping not to break it. Feels like gambling at times. A cluster of one-armed bandits.

"Okay, the documentation says this uses a parameter called "args" of VariantList type. So, does it take a string?"
    *starts up the game*
    *makes a new character*
    *attempts to test mod change*
    *crash to desktop*
    *reads game log*
"Okay, doesn't take a string. Next try a list of strings."
    ....
    "Okay, a float now."

Yeah, I'm moping a bit about the documentation. Does give the feel of going to the casino at times, just don't have less in my pocket when I finish. Can't expect too much from working with the nightlies.

Well at first I would have probably given it an 8, solid Beta and fun enough to play for a while as is but now that we haven't gotten much progress that would probably have gone down to a 4-5, because it just stayed a Beta, it never had the lunge forward that would signal that this is a set game and it is amazing. Starbound just never quite got that and while it is still being worked on daily, it still isn't quite there, maybe one day it will be finished and then it shall return to its 8 or perhaps even a 10.
