Closed Okay, devs...what did you do THIS time...

    It's a really good thing I hoard everything on my ship because now, if I try to beam down to a planet I've already visited, I wind up being beamed back to my ship, and this is placed in the starbound.log file:

    Planets I haven't visited seem to be fine, so this can probably be solved by deleting world files in my universe folder, but if I had an elaborate home base in this file, I'd be pretty ticked right now.

    I'm experiencing the same issue but on startup. Would you happen to be playing on FBR?

    No, but I just discovered the issue. I had Passive Wildlife installed. The creator of that mod didn't use patches but rather complete monster files, so I guess the game was complaining about that. I removed the mod and everything went back to normal.

    I'm guessing ANY mod with custom monsters/non-patched modified monsters is now broken. Which sucks. I really hate dodging swarms of hostile monsters when all I'm looking to do is run around the surface of a planet collecting things.

    What is FBR though?

    It looks like this may be caused by the recent changes to how weather effects work. All monsters/critters/pets/etc. now have a "appliesWeatherStatusEffects" that can be either true or false. However, a bunch of mods have yet to add this field to their custom monsters - especially ship pets.

    As for FBR, it's a server I operate. A large number of our players have been experiencing this issue since 1.1.1, so I figured I'd check.

    If you download mods you do so at your own risk.
    Support is for issues for people with a Pure Vanilla game, to report issues for a pure vanilla game.
    Of course there maybe rare exceptions where certain functions are not working as they should - in that case the mod author would report the issue.

    If you game breaks if you have mods installed - report the issue the mod author. They are the ones responsible for maintaining their mods.
