Same here. And by the way, is there any information on when Cube world will be released possibly?

I've been planning on preordering since I first heard about the game, which I think was some time during the last summer.

Terraria was one of those games that I was expecting to be a hollow attempt at imitating retro games, made without a real, full understanding of what makes retro games tick. Needless to say, I was caught off guard by the fact that not only does it manage to pull off the retro feel, it achieves it while being something that isn't anything like any retro game I can think of. Yet at the same time, it seems like in many ways like it would have fit right in during the SNES age, probably as one of Square's odd one shots or side series. Obviously that couldn't of happened, due to the technical limitations of the hardware at the time, but old games aren't good because they are old. Now is as good a time as any.

Obviously it really got my attention, and when I heard they were making a new game I couldn't help but get excited at the prospect of something even bigger and more imaginative.

    Also, nice Metal Slug Alien.

Don't know yet. I might see how the beta goes initially and then pre-order later, but I'm honestly content waiting.

  5. Look at it this way, going to the movies costs about $20 for a few hours of entertainment and cheap popcorn, and it seems like this game has already provided many members with far more hours of entertainment withouth the game being released. Isn't that worth a preorder regardless how the game turns out?

    So count me in!

I will try to avoid buying it the instant it is available...but well
It will depend on if I can distract myself with other games.

Why do yes/no polls never have a maybe option?

Because you are either going to buy the pre-order, or not. There is no need for a maybe. :p

I stated this in a thread that I made about a week ago, but herer it is again. I have had $20 in my steam wallet since July, and I refuse to spend it on anything until I have bought/preordered Starbound. Just in case it costs $20.

Unless I am undecided or it depends on information that is not yet available.

I'm personally not interested in a beta... but if there is a discount for pre-ordering, I'm all for it.
I guess I'll still need to buy it anyways after the release even if there is no discount.

So it's a Yes from me.

Lol I wish movies only cost $20 dollars around here. I spent nearly a hundred just to see Frankenweenie in Imax 3D and almost 80 to see Dark Shadows in normal. So a $10-$20 dollar game shitty or not is worth it
