Hello, I am Chaosmancer (more commonly called Chaos or Cameron). I am currently doing a course at Stroud College (well, it recently merged with another college and is now SGS (South Gloucester and Stroud)) for computer games design. I do aspire to be a games designer/tester/programmer (obviously not all of them at once, it is a case where '/' means 'or'). I know that programming is complex but it seems quite fun when you get into it (Kismet in UDK for example), and that is probably part of the reason I want to get into it. Either way, I spend quite a lot of time playing games, and try to play lots of different genres (anything from RPG to danmaku to fighting games, if it is enjoyable, I am likely to give it a try...and if I don't know that it's not enjoyable, I will probably try it anyway). I do have a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, 3DS, and Steam, so if anyone wants to add me, just let me know (I also have a DSLite, DS, PSP (the old brick one that dented my wall when I threw it, not a scratch on the PSP), and a Game Boy, but that was kind of irrelevant for things relating to online). ...Huh, I kind of went overboard with brackets there...and information...either way, the main reason I am here is because Starbound looks awesome (and then there was the Starship Troopers reference (although 'death from above' may not just reference Starship Troopers, it is where I recognise it from). Sorry about all the text, I can tend to make long paragraphs about nothing, I generally write what I think, and then can't take anything out. Oh yeah, as a warning, I can be quite pessimistic/self depreciating, it is probably best to not pay too much attention if this happens.

Hello and welcome to the Forums, Chaosmancer! To me, "Death from Above" would reference either paratroopers or ODSTs from Halo. ChaosKitty is a new one, I've already read the rules (so I know that I can probably swear as long as it isn't in excess or meant to cause trouble to another member), finding out stuff about clans, as for art...no, just no, I can not draw well (well, I can't draw my own stuff well, I can copy to an extent (visually copy by hand, not using tracing paper or anything like that)...maybe I'll try to do some sort of 3D model, or something, but I doubt that I will be able to draw anything at all good enough to be fanart (I am not exaggerating here http://chaosdarkblaze.deviantart.com/ look at my pictures and cringe). And thanks to everyone for the welcomes, I will try to be active, but sometimes I tend to chicken out of posting things half way through for some reason.
I am the same way about art! I can copy stuff in front of me reasonably well, but I cannot draw original stuff to save my life. My contest entry (the Pishims) looked like beans with arms and a leg. And you are very welcome! I just enjoy helping newcomers get oriented.
I can't copy things at all! I can look at things for reference, but copying it the same way is too difficult for me
