Seriously, tho, I already can't remember how i found out about this, but i'm already expecting it more than the next terraria update [it was likely because of terraria...] and i'm seriously considering donating the 15 bucks base for various motives, but i'll list the two more important ones: It's cheap, and paypal payment is enabled. I'd have supported Mighty No 9 if i could use paypal

Anyway, on to the introduction topic! Just call me Yan, Yanz, or something similar. It's easier than trying to type or saying my full name
I've been introduced to sandboxing... probably with Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, i think. The freedom and vast landscape made me fall in love with that sort of game. Much time later, i found out terraria in a time where HD 3d graphics rule the top game wars... That game felt so nostalgic with its pixel-art and simple yet pretty effects... And took sandboxing to a new level to me.

Then... I found out about this. Like i said elsewhere, "It's like Terraria and Spore had a baby, and it is BEAUTIFUL". And I mean it. I'll try to get this either by helping with the preorder, or buying it as soon as it's out. Didn't decide on what option i'd choose yet xD

I think I might be misreading the first part of your comment, but you mentioned "if you could use paypal". I think some users, including myself, have had some problems with the pre-order. Just keep trying if it doesn't work right away and it should work out.

No, no, you misunderstood. Mighty no 9, which is on kickstarter kicking robot backs like no one, does not support paypal payment. I'd love to back that project too, but i can't because of that.
This one, on the other hand, is a must and only need time before i can put my hands on it. I'm likely going to wait a bit until october, which is when i'm going to do a big purchase and bundle it up.

 

ahh, well, as you can see the beta is still unreleased so you've got time. I believe the devs have said at one point that people who want to pre-order the full game can still do so after the beta release, and will still get beta access.

 

yeah this game is going to be straight awesome by looking at it (im a huge terraria/minecraft fan) although i was kinda depressed that they sorta abandoned terraria for the pc
and i agree with yanazake about waiting abit before making a "big purchase" to see how it'll actually turn out but from what i've seen so far it's going to be no less then amazing

Anyway, i'm definitely getting this, but money-spending time will be only around october. You know, buncha title releases, more news about consoles...

As for terraria, Greenman, what about the 1.2 update? It'll at the very least EXIST sometime around the middle of this month, and is supposed to reach consoles later on. Doesn't seem THAT abandoned to me anymore.

 

Terraria 1.2: A big fat giant MEH. Honestly, I've long since bored myself out of playing that game besides with friends, its just too... boring, honestly.

 

Well, i've barely started playing it. Really, i think i got it this year or something like that.

The only reason you might want to pre-order the game now is for the soundtrack, or not if you're not a big game music fan, actually I'm not even sure they'll stop giving this when beta releases
