Welcome one and all to the post for my server.

I would like to welcome any player to the server of Azalia. (This server does have mods! None of which I take credit for, you can thank your lovely community developers for blessing us with such great ways of entertainment.)




Don't want to have to dig to the center of the planet for some measly cores to repair your ship? We got you covered. Simply take 20 from the wall chest and repair your ship with the tech panel next to it!

Not sure how to get the unstable patch?
Follow these instructions (Backup whatever you don't want to lose just in case)
Nightly clients work as well due to nightly and unstable being on the same patch atm!

1. Click in the top left corner of your steam and click settings



2. In account click change.


3. Change it to Steam Beta Update.



4. Let your steam update itself (It will update close and reopen).

5. Right click on your Starbound and click properties.



6. Click on the betas tab, and change the beta you would like to opt to, to Unstable - More beta than beta.



7. Let it update, and that's it!

Here are the rules for the server​

1. Absolutely no arguing (or at least keep it on the downlow, nobody wants to read about your problems)!
2. Minimal bad language. (I'm running a server here, not a children's camp)
3. No griefing of course, it will not be tolerated.
4. No cheating in any way.

It is recommended you start a new character (But not required of course)

Above is the link to the mods. To install simply unrar in .../starbound/mods

The first time loading may take a while due to it have the mods, so please be patient

I' very excited for this! My friend has been looking for a server with a Homestuck mod for such a long time. She and I will probably be frequenting this server from now on.

 

I'm glad to hear it! The server will be up for as long as possible, so bring all your friends and have a great time exploring starbound ^_^

 

I'd love to join the server, but every time I try to open the game, I keep getting errors. Something about particles and terrain?

 

Hmmm, well, if you had any previous mods installed I would reccomend removing those (Or placing them somewhere safe out of the mods folder), then simply download the modpack from the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ncy4qpot3ll8aw/mods.rar?dl=0 open the mods.rar and there should be a folder labled mods, simply open up that folder and you'll see a bunch of folders referring to the mods, just drag and drop all of them into the starbound mods folder which should be somewhere in your starbound directory (....../starbound/mods

After that, try running the game, and tell me if it clears anything up

I kinda have one, although it's more of a convenience thing than anything else:
After unraring the pack, the game takes forever to load. Likely because few of the mods in it are in the .pak format, which was made to help cut down the load times of each mod.

It also might not help that the pack itself takes a while to unpack, as well.

 

Packed all the mods into .modpaks

The game now runs quicker and smoother ^_^ thx for the suggestion

 

New updated mod pack, check the links download em, and place them in the mods folder. I added creative, tabula rasa, and ROK, giving builders a way of enjoying building, and new pets and mounts! P.S. there is also the flatland sector for those of you who just want to go straight to building instead of having to dig out the land. Have fun

hey, remember me . so im slightly confused. is the server down or something? i've been trying to get on it all day to no avail

 

Sorry guys, i'm not entirely sure if i'm going to keep the server alive. I get very little traffic, and its eating up my cpu at the cost of such little players that join. If you guys want me to keep it up however I will do so, I just need your opinions.

Plus due to the new [Unstable] Branch update for starbound, I can host that instead if it is something you guys would be interested in. Just leave your comments and i'll check up on it

The server will be down til I receive some feedback on the situation (Sorry guys and gals)

 

Whatever shall a Christmas noob such as myself do now! I was looking forward to joining this interesting server as I'm quite interested in it's current mod list. I do hope that this server will be opened up once again soon...
