Oooo, I like the sound of that. Literally, Quasar Cannon sounds awesome.

 

Ive been using it in my writing for a while now >3> which is why I knew it sounded good. But something on THAT level of awesome has to be reserved for like... an orbital cannon or something.

 

Hmmm, I notice there are a lot of requests for high level weapons, the kind that blow large holes in the landscape. What about something a little more precise like the precision rifle from Red Faction?

 

We talking about the one from the original game?
I don't recall it in the others, but I never played the latest.
Starbound now needs mining charges and batons.

I'd like an umbrella. A SUPER UMBRELLA.
Its uses are myriad! It's a weapon! A parachute! Protection from the sun! A boat! A tiny swimming pool! A shield!
It's like a classy version of a swiss army knife!

 

Personally I would very much like a lava grenade. Hurl a grenade it spawns lava. Alternatively there could also be a water grenade. Throw a grenade it spawns water.
